Jess Frye

Director of Development

Jess Frye (she/her/hers) oversees fundraising activities as Foodwise’s Director of Development. She joined the team after working in development and communications for performing arts nonprofits in the greater San Francisco Bay Area, and serving on the boards of the Homeless Garden Project and the Hudson Center for Community and the Environment. Jess comes from a restaurant family, and is passionate about working toward a sustainable future for the planet and equal access to quality food for all. She learned how to grow a home garden and make pantry magic from her resourceful mom, and loves to play in the kitchen making seasonally inspired vegetarian dishes.
